Administrative Interlude

Well, it seems like a short ‘process’ administrative break might be good here, to talk about some of the mechanics of how this blog works.

First, when folks post a comment, they do not show up on the blog site until the ‘administrator’ approves them (that’s me). This is a good feature, in case some stranger gets on the site and wants to say something out of line.  Or perhaps a blog-ee friend has too many libations and posts something way more offensive than my six pack ab picture of Week One.

Once Comments are approved, they should show up in the Post for all viewers to see.  I’d be curious to know if you receive an email that tells you your Comment has been posted.

Second, I love all your comments–they certainly help me maintain a positive attitude during this adventure.  But it may be logistically difficult to respond to them all….if I answer some, I’ll feel guilty (Catholic upbringing) about not answering all.  For those that seem to scream out for a response, I’ll try to do the appropriate thing!  Please know they are all appreciated!

Third, I’m trying to figure out how to alert folks when I have a new posting.  I found one way, but it looked too much like a marketing bombardment, with popups and maybe multiple reminders….too intrusive, so I’m still looking.  In the meantime, my plan is to do a posting each weekend, recapping the adventures of the week before.

So, that’s about all the administrative stuff for now.  On to Week 2 blog.

Instead remember. how well you’ve treated that body thru the years and now it will REWARD you in return with special IMMUNITY Kenny ps still on “runway” also
